Sister Wives

Since I have been in Lehi, Utah, I have wanted to drive by the Sister Wives house. Emily always forgets even though it is brought up daily. Well... yesterday was New Years Eve and Emily had to work. So for the start of her shift Carter, Jaxton, and I went swimming at the Legacy Center. The older boys went to a movie with Creed. When we left the legacy center we had to stop by walmart to pick something up (hence the reason I look the walmart part, sweats and wet hair- not a shinning moment. Plus the holiday pounds!). We barely pulled into the lot and I noticed one of the wives. So I hit the brakes and went in reverse. I hit them a little sudden for being on ice, but I was too excited. I parked the car, and the boys didn't want to get out, so I was like whatever and let them sit in the car. I went to first knock on the window of second wife, Janelle. She rolled down her window and I asked if I can take her picture. She said, "sure". Then she motioned for Cody, Mary, and Christine to come over too. Cody tried to introduce them all, but I said, "its okay, I know your names." I asked were Robin was and she was running late. We talked for a few minutes and I told them how Id been wanting to drive by there house. Cody said that I could have driven by and not seen them so this was better. He also said that they were on their way sledding with the kids (in the car) and the filming crew, so now I have a pic with them in the same outfits we will see in a March episode. On of the camera men took the photo. First wife Mary did notice that I stopped suddenly and went in reverse too. They were so nice and happy. It made my day!

9-11-2010 My 24th Birthday

I spent my birthday sick (along with most of this year), and up until dinner I was in my pajamas. My parents thought giving me a frog humidifier along with my gifts was hilarious, even though I asked for one.
And Uncle Steve came to dinner too.

Obviously I am the short one.

wii bowling!

So one of my favorite games on the wii is bowling. Probably because no matter how I throw the ball or flick my wrist it usually goes straight. I am also good at trick bowling. NO JOKE, I can be in the other room and bowl a strike. If I miss a pin or two, my parents usually just say what pin number it is and I can bowl for the spare!

Here is a pic of scores on a recent game. I am in the green beanie. I was babysitting during this game, but had to finish after the kids left. I just threw balls on the other players, and then on my turn tried to concentrate more. Notice my tenth frame, then the next players. That is 5 strikes in a row, a first for me. But in my actual game I got four in a row at the start, hence the reason I needed to finish.

6 MONTHS!

I have been waiting six months to get my Drivers License back. Today was suppose to be that day. But nope. (So much for scheduling a DMV appointment)

Before I drive again. I have to get one of these. (EEG)

And one of these (CT Scan). And then hopefully with good results I get approval from my Neurologist.

So until then I wait so more. Maybe at the end of it all my parents will buy me one of these!

Or for now Ill settle with a plane ticket to Utah. (To visit the Hansens!)

(Side note- at least something good came out the DMV today, my cousin Jeff got his PERMIT!)

Rhebas Summer Departure

Rheba almost lost her pants getting all her stuff by the bus.

Maddy and I had a nice chat with Rhebas bus driver. He is so nice. We told him not to let her drive or talk on the microphone. And we also told him that she knows how to change a flat tire!

The Cosumnes Oaks High School group! Theo, Rheba, Ryan, Jon, and Jason. They are all so excited for tour, and sad that they will miss band camp. They will start school hours after they return, NO JOKE.

The going away crew. Dad, Tim, Me, Norman, Mom, Rheba, and Maddy. This was about 11:30 at night, and we stayed till the bus pulled away at 12:17AM. (We arrived at 11pm. Getting on the bus was more a ceremonial procedure. )

Glasses

My dad had one pair of glasses, and when they broke. They broke. It wasnt an easy fix like a screw, the entire side piece snapped in half. He walked around for about a week with this lovely green tape on the side. How horrible. We joke at home that we are going to get him a pair of glasses for each room in the house. Cause at least 3 out of 5 days, he always me or someone else asks to go and find, "HIS EYES." He said that the green tape was a, "Fashion statement."

Leaving for SOCAL!

For the last week I have learned how much I hate sleeping on the office floor. I gave up my room, so that it can be shared by three teenage boys. I was told that I can share with Rheba, but I am pretty sure I would of never fallen asleep in her room because of how "busy" it is. Then after a few nights, even more people came to sleepover. 3 more girls to be exact. They got to sleep downstairs or where they fell over. The best part was that a bathroom shared by 3, was now shared by 9. And they are quick at cycling through, I swear I waited over an hour just to get my toothbrush and brush my teeth before bed. They keep stuff all over. The house was only quiet when my parents were at work, Abbie was gone, and the 7 Mandarins left for practice. I went through in the morning to close the windows and could of died climbing over their belongings to shut the windows for the AC. I was mortified with the condition of my room. Dont worry, I made the bed that I didnt sleep in, and basically used half a bottle of Hollisters Malibu Beach body spray so the boy smell didnt soak in. I also collected all the towels and spend time doing laundry. The rest of the time was thinking of what to feed the vultures when they came home from practice. It was only 10 oclock at night, but why not eat another full size dinner, and dessert, and then snacks, and then round two, and the somemore, and some searching the cupboards. You would think these kids are fat, but nope, not at all. They will eat anything. And then you have to plan what food to send along during the day. Breakfast at home, and then eat a box of cereal a piece. Enough with my ranting, Emily (and baby Kaidan), and Ashlee got to hear all of it yesterday and live to see a little. Emily brought over some pasta salad to go along with our lunch, she wanted to take the rest home to her husband. I told her we would have to hide it in the outside fridge otherwise the Mandarin kids would find it and scarf it down in two seconds. We did make Lemon Bars, cause my dad said I had to use some of the Lemons, since we have a ton. I did get one before the pan was finished minutes after these kids got home.

Last night they all left for there SO CAL tour. This first photo is a pre collection of all gathering all belongings. And this wasnt even the half of it.

All of Rhebas stuff filled the trunk in my dads Audi. Except her large bag of candy and bus snacks.

My parents being Rhebas handlers. You would think this is leaving for the large tour. Nope, this is just the SO CAL portion.

Theo in the back, Rheba, and Ryan all looking forward to loading one of the four buses to SO CAL. The Penskes, and Trailers, and all other stuff comes along too.

Saying Goodbye.

Dont worry, the 6 other kids made it too! Rheba rode with my dad, cause they had to make one last candy stop. Which put the girls in their car, and the boys in the Explore. Since Casey is taller he got the front and I got the back middle. I was almost told not to bring my cell phone, cause one more thing could have broken the car. (and my dad thought I packed a lot for college.)
